Opening for business in the late 1970's, The Finish Line started as an antique restoration company in the San Francisco Bay area. Scott Burns took his love for art and creative skill to give new life to classic furniture pieces. The Furniture Revival opened in 1970 and continued successfully until a fire in 1990 gave chance for relocation and rebirth.

Like many Californians of the early 90’s Scott and his family migrated north towards Seattle. Here he gave his company a new look and a new name. The Finish Line opened in August 1992 and refocused on a more commercial customer. Now The Finish Line's clientele largely consists of cabinet makers and contractors partnering to provide a superior product.

Wood comes in raw and with our keen eye for detail and precise color matching it leaves with beautiful, rich finishes and paints, tailored to each client’s taste. Scott has passed along his work ethic and knowledge to his employees, some of which have been with him since the beginning and are more like family. True to his roots creativity still comes into play daily as naked wood evolves into elegant, modern, rustic, sleek, rich pieces of art that help express a client’s individuality and transform any space into something amazing.
