Your custom Doors, Cabinetry and Millwork Package have been manufactured by natural wood products. Because no two trees grow alike, variations in grain pattern, texture and color are to be expected. Color and grain differences in wood are caused by variations in the mineral content of the soil, changes in the climate, the amount of moisture, and even injuries to the tree as it grows. Every wood specie will also display certain specific characteristics in addition to their normal grain pattern such as knots, pinholes, sap runs, darkening with age, or mineral streaks. While these variations and marks provide the beauty and character that are the essence of natural wood, they can appear on adjacent doors or panels, or even within the same door panel.
Wood species in all finishes will exhibit color changes when exposed to different types of light, and as a result of the normal aging process of wood. Your sample is intended to give a general idea of the appearance of a specific finish on a specific wood specie, but may vary from the product you receive. We cannot provide samples that will show all the possible variations of patterns and colors thus variations may exist between this sample and the actual wood used in your product.
